History
The Dyson-Kissner-Moran Corporation is a privately-owned, international holding company. DKM was founded in 1954 by the late Charles H. Dyson and since 1992 has been led by his son, Rob. Ownership is maintained within the Dyson family.
For more than 50 years, the DKM formula has included active long-term stewardship of its businesses, and a successful acquisition track record. Since its founding, DKM has completed scores of acquisitions, both as platform investments and as strategic add-ons for existing holdings.
Unlike most private equity firms, DKM invests only its own capital, supplemented by bank debt, with a long-term horizon. On occasion, stand alone transactions have been completed by a DKM affiliate as the majority shareholder together with other equity investors.
