DKM's Recreational Vehicle Group is headed by Thetford Corporation, the world's leading manufacturer of toilets and related sanitation products for recreational and camping vehicles and boats. Norcold, acquired in 1997, is one of the leading manufacturers of refrigerators used in recreational vehicles, truck cabs and powerboats. In 2004, Thetford purchased Tecma, the leading producer of high-end macerating toilets for the European yacht industry, as well as macerating/waste transfer units for residential applications. Spinflo, acquired in 2005, is the leading producer of stoves for the U.K. recreational vehicle market. Together, they form a large international supplier of products to the recreational vehicle and marine industries, as well as portable toilets and coolers for leisure use. Headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the group has manufacturing facilities in Michigan, Ohio, The Netherlands, England and Italy.
